the ranks
There
being three different rankings in the Saiyan society, most were judged
by their infancy for their strength potentials and there born into their
classes. It was not uncommon for a Low Class Saiyan to have an Elite
child, and the opposite also held true. There were the Low or Average,
and then the Elitists. Much more rarely achieved was that of the Super
Elites. Above is a picture consisting of all three levels. Raditz was
known as the low class with a power level of about 3,000. Next were the
Elite class, represented by Nappa. After that was the Super Elites in
which it was believed from Prince Vegeta's birth that he would become a
Super Saiyan in his life time. It would prove to be a true prediction.
On
rare occassion would a Saiyan be retested and placed into a different
class. The two doctors Milaka and Planthor would indicate this by
saying, "This case is unusual. Perhaps we better have him retested."
This was said speaking of Bardock, meaning that before Planet Vegeta's
destruction, it would have been possible for Kakarrot's father, to be
ranked among the Elites. Since Plant Vegeta was destroyed before the
test could be taken, Kakarrot and his father would remain classed as the
Low or Average Classed Saiyans.
Low (Average) Class
- This class was often found enjoying the simpler things in life. This
class would run farms for food, light conquer missions, run stores,
bars, and all in all, be the working class of the Saiyan Empire.
However, they were most highly reguarded as the foundation of the
Empire. With that, came a respect given to them for medical care as
they needed it. Other needs were met with them first before the stores
would see their profits. In this manner the Low Class was treated very
well to make sure that they could remain strong and gain strength.
Elite Class - These
people were more military, providing the needed protection for that of
the other two classes to safely work. These Elitists made the money,
spent it on the Middle Class goods, upon which the Middle Class would
pay the Low. However, it was often a treat to have money to spend to
provide for some wealth upon Planet Vegeta. Often, between all three
races, it was a trade, more bartering than the coin system.
Super Elitist -
Rare to come across, these Saiyans were highly reguarded. These Saiyans
were far and few between with true potentials of becoming Super
Saiyans. These were the heavy warriors and the ones that would serve
within the Castle itself. Though all races worked within the Castle
with various tasks, these were the gaurds within the Throne Room.
Each member would
be held to their level responsibilities making the Saiyan Empire truly
one of the strongest. When money was distributed, it was even and fair,
none getting more than another. They would barter and deal, but they
would spend little to no actual money so that they may preserve what
they had for space missions upon other planets.
